Isn't interesting how the initials for the English words American Latino Media Arts stand for "ALMA"? which is a Spanish word? That is really a neat creative coincidence.
According to Terra.com, Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) will be the host for this year 2006 ALMA Awards, which honors outstanding Latinos artists. She will participate as a producer of the show as well.
The ceremony will be held and taped on May the 7th in the "Shrine Auditorium" in Los Angeles, CA and then later transmitted by the Broadcaster ABC in a special program of hour and a half of duration.
